Dr. Evan Franke developed a passion for pain medicine during residency after witnessing first-hand the difference a comprehensive approach to pain management can make in a patient’s life. Board-Certified in Anesthesiology and Board-Certified in Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology, he is trained in all areas of pain medicine and has a special interest in neuromodulation techniques.
A graduate of Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society, Dr. Franke completed his Anesthesiology residency at Mayo Clinic and was selected as the Chief Resident during his final year of training. He then remained at the Mayo Clinic to complete a Pain Medicine fellowship.
Dr. Franke has a passion for patient satisfaction and works to educate patients on the source of their pain along with treatment options. He enjoys caring for all types of acute and chronic pain conditions and strives to optimize patient function and quality of life through a multimodal, individualized care plan.
Outside of work, Dr. Franke spends time with his wife and two children and enjoys playing basketball, golf and baseball.
I decided to pursue a career in interventional pain medicine to help people get back to doing the things they enjoy
